 Apple Valley Doll Works is a sister company to Secrist Dolls. Apple Valley produces kits that are ready to assemble with eyes pre-inserted. Unless the unpainted option is selected, they have factory-painted vinyl limbs and heads with eyelashes applied and eyes inserted. Eyes can be pre-inserted in Secrist kits, and they come unpainted.
Secrist vinyl is usually translucent and takes on lifelike undertones when heat set paints are used to apply a purple interior wash.
